Hi, my name is Alexander Levin. I am currently a Cybersecurity Major at Northeastern University. I have always been interested in Cybersecurity at a young age when I would try and hack trivial browser games. It wasn't until high school where I would take my first Cybersecurity class that I would realize that I would want to pursue a career in it.
Though I didn't get introduced into Cybersecurity until junior year of high school I found my love for computers when I built my first one when I was 13. I was fascinated by every aspect of my computer, the hardware, the software, all of it. With building my first computer I was introduced to video games which would become a very important passion of mine. I didn't realize how big until I would be trying out and successfully making it on one of the Northeastern Valorant teams where I would be a collegiate esports player and captain of my team.
Though computers and video games are very important and special passions of mine, some of my other interests include skiing, web development, traveling, and video editing.

This project I created in my Object Oriented Design Class over the summer. It incorporates the ability to load and save images and perform a numerous amount of processes including: blurring, flipping horizontally and vertically, and greyscale. Please click the image to checkout the github repository.
I created the UNIX Shell in my Computer Systems class. It is coded in C and implements many of the same functionality as the normal UNIX Shell includes the capabilities to execute programs, built-in commands, command line arguments, and operators. For more information, click the image to checkout the github repository.
I also created the FUSE File System in my Computer Systems class using the FUSE API. It is coded in Shell and C and implements many of the same functionality as a normal filesystem, implementing functionality such as: moving, renaming, creating, and deleting files and directories.
If you want to check out the source code for my website you can check it out on my github which you can access by clicking on the picture. I coded this in Javascript, HTML, and CSS. This was by far one of my favorite projects as it was a lot of fun to create and I learned a lot about web development and provided me a great way to share my projects and information.
